The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (Fish and Wildlife Services Branch) is holding an artwork contest. They are looking for artwork to include on the 2018 Young Angler’s Licence. Entries also must include a one page essay about the fish and how to protect it for future generations. This year’s fish species are the Muskellunge and Bluegill.
Eligibility & Prizes
To be eligible, students must be residents of Ontario who are currently enrolled in Grade 4-12 in an Ontario school.
There is one winner in each category (grade 4-6, grade 7-9, and grade 10-12). This year’s prizes include a fishing trip at Chaudière Lodge (Monetville), a day of fishing with a Canadian Sportfishing Television Show Host, fishing gear from Lucky Strike Baitworks, and more!
