If there’s one thing that we’ve learned from the chaos of the pandemic, it’s that community is the key to EVERYTHING. (That, and the importance of having comfy sweatpants and snacks on hand at all times.) At Virtual High School, we want every student to feel encouraged and uplifted by our team, which is why we’ve invested so much time and effort into our support services.
We Are Flexible
Life can be one great, big juggling act with competing priorities at times, so we’ve designed an education model that you can personalize based on your own schedule:
• Access your course at anytime from anywhere in the world.
• Use our pacing tool to stay on track with your selected deadline.
• Submit your assignments when you’re ready.
• Choose an exam date that works best for you.
We Are Supportive
We know that there are times when it can be hard to stay motivated and focused on your goals in school. That’s why we’ve crafted a community of people who are dedicated to helping you when you just need a little extra support:
• Our administrative staff is ready to walk you through every step of the process, from the moment you register to the day you receive your final report card. Seriously, they’re experts and know the school inside and out.
• Your teacher will gladly answer questions, provide detailed feedback, and explain the trickiest of concepts.
• The Student Academic Support coaches are available to assist you via live chat or virtual meetings. (Psst—this service is FREE by the way!)
We Are Student-Centred
It can also get a little lonely while you’re out pursuing success and conquering the world, so we’ve made sure to incorporate some FUN at VHS:
• Join our book club.
• Connect with students from other countries at a Meet-and-Greet.
• Paint a masterpiece for our art gallery.
• Snap a pic for our themed photo series.
• Make an activity suggestion of your own! We’re always looking to expand.
We can’t wait for you to meet new people, uncover different passions, and find your rhythm again. Online education doesn’t have to mean isolation this year.
