Maximize Learning with Online Tutoring

At Virtual High School (VHS), we understand that online education offers the flexibility to learn at your own pace. However, there are times when a little extra help is needed. That’s where our Virtual Classroom meetings come in!

Every student at VHS has access to multiple 20-minute one-on-one video sessions with an experienced tutoring coach who knows the course content thoroughly. These sessions provide personalized support, allowing you to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of the material. They're also FREE for VHS students!

While asynchronous learning offers flexibility, sometimes concepts need further explanation. Virtual Classroom meetings make it easy to connect with an expert who can re-word and re-explain topics until they click. If you need more time or have additional questions, you can always book more sessions.

How to Access Virtual Classroom Meetings

From the home page of your course, select the Tutoring tab on the far right of your navigation bar at the top.

Select your course code from the dropdown menu.
Select an available tutoring coach.
An interactive calendar will open in a new window so that you can view the available time slots. Sessions are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Select a date and time for your session.
You’ll receive a confirmation email once your session has been successfully scheduled. This email will include instructions on how to join your Virtual Classroom meeting on the selected date.
Ensure your microphone is enabled during the session, as you will be speaking directly with your tutoring coach.
Come prepared with the questions or topics you'd like to focus on.
