The summer months provide a great opportunity for students to earn high school credits online! Online learning offers students the ability to work at their own pace, reduce next year’s academic course load, or earn credits that were not gained or available in their conventional schools. This summer, Virtual High School continues to partner with Evoke Learning to offer the Evoke Summer Credit Program to students across Ontario. Through this unique service, students will receive one-on-one tutoring while taking VHS courses. Evoke tutors work with students to help them
- Meet their academic goals
- Organize their material and course work
- Identify information gaps
- Stay on task and meet personal deadlines
- Incorporate frequent learning breaks
- Minimize frustration and stress
- Develop critical learning skills
- Work effectively at their own pace.
With the flexibility of the Evoke Summer Credit Program, students can still maintain a regular summer routine, whether that be working part-time, spending time at the cottage, enjoying the beach with family and friends, or travelling, all while meeting their academic goals. Students can meet their tutors in the Evoke offices – located in Toronto and Aurora – or online. Students from anywhere in Ontario are eligible to participate in this exciting program.
Evoke also offers a number of academic skills programs that students can take through the summer months in order to refine study habits, improve focus, manage stress, and hone their essay writing, math, or reading skills.
