Recommendation to Waive a Prerequisite Form

A prerequisite course ensures that students have the prior knowledge required to be successful in subsequent studies. Before students enrol in a course, they must meet the prerequisite requirements established by the Ministry of Education.

If you are currently enrolled in a high school in Ontario and you haven’t completed the required prerequisite, we require a recommendation from your guidance counsellor. Please fill out the form below, and submit your guidance counsellor’s email address. We also require a copy of your current transcript.

Once we’ve received the completed form and your transcript, we will send a link directly to your guidance counsellor to provide a recommendation and signature.
